Air Max 97 ‘Metallic Hematite’

Hematite is an iron oxide mineral derived from the Greek word for blood, haima, due to the red hue found on some varietals. Spurred by the success of other metallic Air Max 97 colorways like the ‘Silver Bullet,’ the Air Max 97 ‘Metallic Hematite’ colorway features a Metallic Hematite leather base with layered Black, Anthracite, and Dark Grey tones on its nylon and leather upper. The runner also includes 3M reflective detailing on the top half of the upper, a full-length Hematite Air Max unit, and subtle red accents on the heel tab and rubber outsole.
